the years at ramjas

ah am fulfilling a promise!!!and this is one promise i jus looove to fulfill because this post is goin to be abt some of the best years of my school life----the years i spent in ramjas,,, ok ramjas school rk puram was the first school i attended in delhi and quite obvious;y i made my first friends in delhi in ramjas!ok before i start losing track i lemme get back on line!
i spent the majority of my middle school in ramjas and well i wasnt best at studying during those years! but then middle school holds a special place in my heart because that was the time i started hating math and science(specially after i got a "7" outta hundred in math!), it was the time when we learnt a lot of interesting stuff ans it was also the time i had my first crush! lol!
(i know u are more interested abt the crush than nethn els but no amount of persuasion is goin to get me write abt that!) yea and of course it was in middle school that we first got the taste of breakin rules!
ok...when i first came to ramjas i dinn kno hindi and all of a sudden hindi was all over the place!and i got called angrez and whatnots by my classmates but i found solace in my friends,,, and yea the english topper and i were partners(weird the eng connex got us linked!strange are the ways of match makers!) so i escaped a lot of taunting!
then i made really good friends and did some damn crazy stuff like yelling at a teacher and all... and yea it was also the time i made my first appeareance on tv!thats a different story that i wasn't the star of the show!
but THE craziest thing i did was taking part in the science exhibition!!!lol!now when i think about it i crack up with laughter!!!and the funniest part was that i was in the physics part of the exhibhition considering that i never fathomed the basic concepts of the subject!
i mean there were options like creative writing and social sciences! but science and i thought i hated it!and yea i couldn't even explain the working of the periscope in proper terms! i just spent time beating around the bush... that was also the time when i realised i would make a good history student!
and then soon we came into THE class ten we heard a lot about us being in THE board class... it also happened to be my last year in ramjas so i did feel sad... and then i was under a lot of pressure my pre board results were so disastrous that even a disaster management would help me! so i didn't think about leaving ramjas as much as i thought about leaving maths and science. and finally reality hit me when i got admission into CJM and that i would have to go thru the whole ritual of new comers! i remember i used to call one of my friends almost EVERYDAY! so u could say i suffered from the "second- home- sickness!"
and i am so happy that i went to a school like ramjas it helped me learn a lot and made me confident too! i miss the sector four market (our CP!),mrs kaistha's lectures and sometimes i even manage to miss math and science---thats only when i think about all the funny things (my (mis) interpretations of concepts!) but it was fun all the way the steps the water cooler the ice cream walla outside the gate and so many other memories!
